Royal TS will look for a configured connect task in the parent folder. Royal TS will not execute a command task when a connection is established. All responses are much appreciated, even if it's telling me I'm an idiot, heh. For example: establish a VPN connection before you connect and close it after disconnect. To add an additional connection, go to the VPN gateway, then select Connections to open the Connections page. If you want to configure multiple connections, the address spaces can’t overlap between any of the connections.
In the long run I just want to make sure I'm doing this securely, not like anything I'm doing is high profile but for peace of mind. You can create a connection to multiple on-premises sites from the same VPN gateway. with Royal TS for remote desktop connection and troubleshooting Build. I need to start a 3rd party VPN application (Sonicwall) prior to connecting to my remote desktop machines. Knowledge and experience in Network Security, Server, and Endpoint Vulnerability. I'm not terribly well versed in the security side of things however, so I would like suggestions and any experiences the community has with a similar situation. I'm new to your product and haven't been able to figure out if this is possible. I have also looked into and used (briefly) Mistborn, but I'm not sure I'm in love with wireguard either. However I would like to route things through pihole and was considering setting both of these up in Proxmox. I'm not personally a huge fan of pfSense, but if that's the best option I'm not opposed to it. I recently replaced the mobo and am looking to set this machine up to handle a few things. I have a spare machine sitting that I had pfSense installed on until the motherboard died.
CREATING A VPN CONNECTION WITH ROYAL TSX PC
I travel daily and remote into my home PC using AnyDesk currently but would love to move away from this. All of this is reserve proxied through NPM and CloudFlare. The services are fairly basic currently, Trilium, Tandoorrecipes, Vaultwarden, GitlabCE, Apprise, and a few others. Alternatively, if there's an AppleScript interface for OpenVPN you can also integrate that into Royal TSX.
For starters, I'm running unraid on an HP Proliant M元50P Gen 8 - 128GB RAM, 2 Xeon E5-2620 v2 2.10GHz. If that's the case, you can leverage command tasks to integrate OpenVPN into your workflow and either manually open/close VPN using the task or automate it using the Connect/Disconnect task configuration of your connections.
